Today we threw a site BBQ at our Kits Block project to thank our trade partners. Craig Hewitt and Richard Flanagan manned the grill and served up lunch for our site crews who have been working hard on completing the final stages of this project.

We have had a productive summer at The Landmark at Foster Martin by @landmark_living. The tower has reached elevation and we are starting work on the 40,000 sqft landscaping scope as well as the interiors. Stay tuned for more updates!

This week they introduced a new tradition and hosted an International Potluck: everyone brought a dish from their culture, so we got to enjoy some amazing food and try new cuisines. We left full and with a few new recipes to try at home!

Last week the Syncra Social Committee put on another great off-site event at @therecroomca. The team got together for some food and drinks, and then hit the arcade floor to compete in some games. Sadly anything we know about tower cranes did not translate to the claw machine!

Ever seen a tiny crane doing big things on a construction site? That is a spider crane — a compact, powerful lifting machine with legs that spread like a spider for stability.

We are currently using a spider crane at our 220 Prior Street project to lift and position large glass panels with extreme care. These cranes' precision helps ensure a perfect fit and allows the main site crane to continue with other critical project activities.

We have also called on the help of a spider crane where we were constrained on space. Our @experienceflyover Canada fit out project received the assistance of the spider crane to help with the expansive space with high ceilings.

Benefits of a spider crane:
• Compact Size: Fits into tight spaces — perfect for urban construction or inside buildings.
•Remote-Controlled Precision: Operators can maneuver with pinpoint accuracy.
• Minimal Footprint: Doesn’t disrupt other trades on site.
• Allows the main site crane to continue with other critical project activities
